Willis Danniels 86 of Spring City died Saturday, August 9, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 20, 1939 in Grandview to the late Ervin and Nettie Lemons Danniels. Willis attended school in Rhea County and was a logger most of his life, but worked the last 10 years at La-Z-Boy before retiring. He loved being with his family and being outdoors. Willis especially enjoyed bird watching.

Willis was also preceded in death by his son Kenneth Danniels, grandsons Christopher and Travis Danniels, his brothers Lester, Roy and Albert Danniels and his sister Thelma Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years Wanda Dinkins Danniels of Spring City, his sons Jerry (Anita) Danniels and Frankie (Shirley) Danniels both of Dayton, Raymond (Maria) Danniels and Earnest(Cindy) Danniels both of Spring City, daughter in law Kimberly Danniels of Evensville, sister Helen Riggs of Jamestown and his  brother Leroy Danniels of Evensville, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 3 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. David Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Grandview. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 1 to 3 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
