William "Ed" Dunn age 76 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Rhea Medical Center.

He was born on November 16, 1947 to the late William C. and Evelyn Howell Dunn. Ed attended school in Rhea County and California. He started working at Ford Motor Company and retired from General Motors after 31 years in the automotive industry. Ed enjoyed "geocaching", metal detecting, and contributing pictures to "Find a Grave." He was of the Protestant faith.

Ed is also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Larry Morgan.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Susan M. Dunn of Spring City, Tennessee; his children Michael E. Dunn of Clarkston, Michigan and Donald J. (Shanti) Boal of Clinton Township, Michigan; his brother Roger (Phyllis) Dunn of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; his sisters Wanda F. Morgan of Ten Mile, Tennessee and Debbie (Ernest) Lankford of Decatur, Tennessee; his five grandchildren Aaron Dunn, Jeremy Dunn, Kamden Boal, Kassandra Boal, and Donnie Boal; his great grandchild Nolan Dunn; and his three BFF's Rosi Belle, Bindi Bear, and BuffiSue.

There will be no services or visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Rhea County Animal Shelter Alliance, 9118 Back Valley Road, Evensville, TN 37332.
