William B. Reed, 75 , died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his residence.

A lifetime resident of Spring City, William was the son of the late Rainey B. and Annie Mae Godsey Reed.  He was a graduate of Spring City High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army.  William was a heat and air technician and worked at Suburban Manufacturing and Goody's Clothing Store . He loved to fish and hunt . William also enjoyed woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his sister s Linda Cox and Jacqueline "Angeline" Baker.

William is survived by his daughter Melissa (Myra Bryant) Huettner of Raleigh, North Carolina, brother Rainy B. Reed Jr. of Valdosta, Georgia, sister Lucille Hollingsworth of Calhoun, Georgia, mother of his daughter Glenna Malone of Spring City and grandchildren Mickey (Kelley) Huff of Columbia, South Carolina and Jonothan Huettner of Spring City.

Graveside services with military honors are Tues day, September 25 , 2018 at 1:00 p m at the Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from Tues day from 11:00 am to 1:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
