Wanda Jane "Janie" Bracken Sherrill, 66 died Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center .

Born on December 26, 1953, Janie was lifetime resident of Rhea County. She was a homemaker and loved to do crafts and paying computer games.  Janie enjoyed her friends and family.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Janie was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Annie Mae Golden, her son Mark Ellis Sherrill and brothers Joseph Eugene Bracken and Van Chester Bracken.

S urvivors include her sister Wanatha "Tennie" Dodd of Spring City, brothers Jack Bracken of Pikeville, Frankie Bracken of Balsom Grove, NC, Henry Bracken of Lake Toxaway, NC and Robert Bracken of Spring City and grandchildren Jonathan Upchurch of Dayton and Joseph Sherrill of Palm Beach, FL.

There will be no visitation or services.
