Vivian Carol Boles, 86 of Spring City died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Signature Healthcare of Rockwood.

Born on August 13, 1934 in Briceville, Tennessee, Vivian was the daughter of the late Orton T. and Bertie Mae Carroll Summers.  She worked as a C.N.A. in the medical field before retiring in 1996.  Vivian enjoyed doing crafts, quilting and decorating.  She was a member of the Texas Grove Baptist Church in Evensville.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband James Arthur "Ott" Boles, brothers Riley, Clarence, Walter and George Summers, sisters Caval Wiggington, Mildred Stonecipher, Dorothy Summers, Louise Felix and Helen Blanton.

Survivors include her stepson Walter "Butch" (Joyce) Boles of Rockwood, nieces Jane Morgan and Alice Clark both of Rockwood, nephew Buddy Blanton of Rockwood, grandson Scott (Amy) Boles and great grandchildren Kayla and Nathan Boles.

Graveside serv ic es will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 1: 00 pm in the Spring City Cemetery with the Rev. Norman Huskey officiating. There will be no visitation.
