Vickye L. Sutton , 70 of Spring City died Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga.

She was born on August 21, 1951 in Dayton, Tennessee. Vickye was a graduate of Rhea Central High School. She retired from Robinson Manufacturing Co. after many years of service. Vickye attended the Alloway Baptist Church. She loved people, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Vickye was preceded in death by her parents Hurley and Hazel Millard Wilson Sr.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years Jerry Sutton of Spring City, her children Mackey (Carolyn) Sutton of Hixson, Greg (Tracy) Sutton of Clarksville, Kim (Scott) Filyaw and Jeremy (Deanna) Sutton both of Dayton, her brothers Hurley Wilson Jr and Steve (Teresa) Wilson, her sisters Marjorie (Bill) Bunch and Marilyn Knowles all of Dayton, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 7, 2022 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Sarah Joffre an d Rev. Dennis Goins officiating. Interment will follow in the Porter-Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
