Ulyess H. Clawson 82 of Spring City died Monday, November 01, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on March 18, 1939 in Roane County and was the son of the late Dewey and Mary Ford Clawson Sr. Ulyess attended Wheat School in Roane County. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends at the Piggly Wiggly. Ulyess attended Victory Baptist Church.

Ulyess was also preceded in death by his wife Alice J. Clawson, his sister Izora Clawson and brothers Robert, Charles , Jimmy and Dew e y Clawson Jr.

Survivors include his daughter Margaret Dodd of Spring City, his brother Ralph Clawson of Spring City, his sisters Hassie Stamey of Rockwood and Rhoda Collins of Spencer, Ohio, grandchildren Joe Dodd and Sady Dodd and great grandchildren Colt Dodd and Dawson Hufstetler.

Graveside services will be Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Long Cemetery with Rev. Robert Hurd officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughn Funeral Home for one hour before services.
