Thomas D. Shook age 81 of Spring City, Tennessee died Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at The Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Thomas was born on October 2, 1940 and was a lifetime resident of this area. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Bonham Baptist Church in Spring City , Tennessee. Thomas attended Spring City High School and worked with his father building houses and doing repairs. He enjoyed doing activities such as: fishing, hunting, playing the guitar, square dancing and karaoke.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Alta May Shook.

Survivors include his children Tommy (Renee) Shook of Dayton and Sue Pegueros of Virginia; sisters Mary Sue Norris and Diane (George) Lynn both of Spring City and Linda Shook of South Dakota; grandchildren Chris Shook, Felicia Danniels, Andy, Charlie and T.C. Fisher; and 8 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Spring City Cemetery . There will be no visitation.
