Thomas "Tom" Houston Bellamy Jr., 66, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Rhea Medical Center.

Born in Miami, Florida, Tom was the son of the late Thomas Houston and Mabel Jean Goreham Bellamy Sr., He worked at Duke Energy for 25 years before retiring in 2005. Tom and his wife, Sue, moved from Sebring, Florida to the Spring City community in 2005. Tom loved the University of Miami, Florida football and fantasy football. While attending church in Sebring, Florida, Tom served as a deacon and youth director, he loved young people. He loved animals. Tom especially loved the Lord. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spring City.

Survivors include his wife Sue Bellamy of Spring City, brother and sister-in-law William Michael and Donna Bellamy of Florien, Louisiana, sister-in-law and brother-in-law LaJuana and Jerry Bochtler of Maryville, Tennessee, brother-in-law Tom Caywood of Maryville and friend Jessie Marine of Spring City.

There will be no visitation or services.
