Teresa Ann Dodson, 60, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at her home.

Formerly of Spring City, Tennessee, Teresa was the daughter of Frank "Sonny" and Barbara Gaines Byrd. Before her retirement, Teresa served as president of Jax's Insulation Company, a company she and her husband, Jack, owned and operated. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Spring City.

Teresa was preceded in death by her son Dillon Michael Dodson, mother Barbara Gaines Byrd and brother Tommy Byrd.

Survivors include her husband Jack K. Dodson Jr. of Chattanooga, father Frank "Sonny" Byrd of Spring City, son Joshua Dodson of Red Bank, Tennessee and grandchildren Alisha Ann Dodson and Zoe Broyles.

Funeral services are Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Elkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery with a white dove release. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
