Steve Tallent 71 of Spring City, Tennessee passed away at his residence

Sunday, November 1, 2026. He was born in Rockwood, Tennessee on October 1, 1955, to the late Clarence and Cleo Fisher Tallent. Steve was a graduate of Spring City High School, “Class of 1973”. He spent his working career at Suburban Manufacturing in Dayton, retiring in March of 2026; after 49 years. Steve was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt and garden. Steve enjoyed watching westerns on television.

Survivors include his wife Cindy D. Tallent of Spring City, his daughter Tammy Human of Grandview, his sons Jon (Miranda) Rector of Grandview and Wesley (Britney) Tallent of Spring City, his brother Don (Barbara) Tallent of Decatur, 9 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 6, 2026 at 11:00am in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Thursday, November, 5, 2026 at Vaughn Funeral Home. Steve will be buried privately in the Tallent Stand Cemetery.
