Stella Faye Tittle 89, of Spring City, Tennessee passed away Thursday September 16, 2026 at Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton, Tennessee. She was born in Roda, Virginia on January 2, 1937 to the late Steve and Ora Lawson Pennington. Stella moved from Ohio to Tennessee in 1976 and was a member of Johnson Chapel in Grandview.

She worked at Oster Corporation and various other manufacturing facilities, ending her career at Piney Point Resort. She loved westerns, both books and movies. Stella also enjoyed yard work, especially growing flowers.

In addition to her parents, Stella is preceded in death by her brothers; Earl and Herman Pennington, her sisters; Gladys Seale, Ellen Turner, Jean Miller, Lois Pennington and Eleanor Pennington.

She is survived by her nephews; Steve Seale of Spring City, Tennessee and David Turner of Newark, Ohio, her niece; Joan Eldridge of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, her step-daughter; Gail Tittle McKinley of Springfield, Ohio and her brother in-law; Larry Miller of Spring City, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be Monday September 21, 2026 at 11:00AM at Spring City Memorial Gardens with Rev. Johnny Eldridge presiding.There will be no visitation.
