​ Sharon Rector, 70, of Spring City, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Rhea Medic al Center. She was born on July 10, 1952, and was a lifetime resident of the area. She retired from Life C are of Athens, Tennessee, where she worked as a nurse. Sharon lo ved to flower garden, play bingo, and also listen to pop music.

​ Sharon was p receded in death by her parents Alb ert and Alley McConkey Crowell.

​ Survivors include her husband Tommy Rector of Spring City; children, James Rector and Dustin Rector both of Spring City; twin sister, Nadine Chittenden and nephew Rodney Murphy, both of Athens, Tennessee

​ Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in Spring City Cemetery with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. There is no visitation.
