Sarah L. Waldo, 77 of Spring City died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on January 5, 1945 in Cumberland County, Tennessee, Sarah was a homemaker and loved to sing and spend time with her family.  She was a member of the Pennine Baptist Church in Spring City .

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Mamie Loden Smith and her brother Edward Smith.

Survivors include her children Thomas (Buffy) Waldo of Spring City, Barbara (James) Mills of Sparta, TN, Eugene (Tammy) Waldo of Grandview and Charlie (April) Waldo of Dayton, her 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7 , 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Bowen officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grandview.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
