Rosemary Paddie, 76, of Niceville, Florida , died Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida .

Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on April 22, 1943 , Rosemary was the daughter of the late Arthur Burton and Virginia Foland Ladd. In 1962, she married Leo Paddie and together they traveled the world, including Thailand, Netherlands, and Japan and around the United States . She worked for the civil service for many years and retired in 1985. Rosemary and Leo settle d in Niceville, Florida in 1985 , where they spent their social time after retirement involved in various veteran organizations. She loved her family and always looked forward to her visits with them in Spring City and Benson, Louisiana .  Rosemary was a master of crossword puzzles.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Leo Paddie and her sister Caroline Gorski.

Survivors include her sons Roger Paddie of Niceville and Burton (Michelle) Paddie of Bellingham, Washington, stepdaughter Vanessa (Roy) Dodez of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, sister Judy Rhodes of Spring City , grandson Darin Paddie of Niceville and several nieces and nephews including niece Kim Gorski of Knoxville .

Due to rising health concerns and the safety of the community, there will not be a public visitation or service.  A private graveside service will be held in the Spring City Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #203, P. O. Box 992, Spring City, TN  37381.
