Ronnie Smith age 74 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He was born on December 30, 1948 to the late Glen and Marie Bolton Smith. Ronnie was a graduate of Spring City High School Class of '68. He worked at Volunteer Electric Cooperative for 31 years as a groundman, lineman and retired as superintendent of the Spring City office. Ronnie enjoyed woodworking and mowing his yard. He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Spring City, Tennessee.

Ronnie was also preceded in death by his brother Pat Douglas, sisters Emily Travis, Glenna Tutor, Mary Ann Phillips and Charlotte Smith.

Survivors include his wife Carol Crosby Smith of Spring City , Tennessee ; son David Smith of Spring City ; daugh ters Maria Holmes of Ten Mile and Amanda (Scott) McQueen of Murfreesboro ; brothers Francis ( Virginia) Smith of Spring City and Ste ve (Karen) Smith of Spring City ; sister Brenda (Ronnie) Dodson of Mechanicsville, Virginia; brother-i n-law Jimmy Tutor of Gatlinburg ; grandchildren Miranda Dodd, Gracie Bustos, Mica Holmes, Quillen Holmes, Keller Holmes , Anya McQueen and Liza McQueen, great grandchild Colt Dodd, several nieces and nephews and special friends Jerry a nd Robin Walker and Carole and Boyd Wright both of Spring City , Tennessee .

There will be no services or visitation.
