Ronnie "Plug" Godsey, 62 of Spring City died Friday, October 22, 2021 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton.

Born on February 3, 1959, Ronnie was a lifetime resident of Spring City.  He worked as a carpenter during his working career.  Ronnie liked playing chess, fishing and spending time with family and friends.   He attended Friendship Baptist Church in Spring City.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Andy Thomas and Shirley June Gaines Godsey, his brothers Tommy and Chucky Godsey and his sister Jan Simpson.

Survivors include his children Megan Moore of Oak Ridge and Justin Miller of Spring City, his sister Debra Henningfeld of Mechanicsville, MD, his brother Ricky (Wanda) Godsey of Decatur, TN, several nieces , nephews , cousins and many great friends.

There will be no services or visitation.
