Robert Raymond Nichols age 84 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on July 24, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Earl and Virginia Fremder Nichols. Robert was a member of the American Legion, Post 707 in Dayton, Ohio. He served his country in the United States Marines. Robert then worked as a toolmaker for 18 years at Chrysler Motors until his retirement in 2001. He has lived in this area for 21 years after moving from Dayton, Ohio. Robert was of the Methodist faith.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Nichols, and his sister Barbara Boyer.

Survivors include his son Scott Nichols of Spring City, Tennessee; his grandchildren Shannon Nichols and Christian Nichols both of Austin, Texas; and his nieces Beth Boyer and Julie Boyer both of Spring City, Tennessee, and Brenda DeHart of West Milton, Ohio.

There will be no services or visitation.
