Robert W. Evans age 63 died Saturday October 20, 2018 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Born in Grandview, he was the son of the late Lester and Vina Ray Evans. Robert was a carpenter and woodworker. He was a caregiver for his mother and his son until their deaths. He was a good brother and took care of everyone else , except himself.

Robert was also preceded in death by his son Robert Lynn Evans and his brother Ray Evans.

Survivors include his special nephew and caregiver David (Jill) Evans of Grandview, daughter Linda Faye Letsinger of West Virginia, brothers Eddie "Tallman" Evans of Spring City, Kenneth Evans of Grandview, David Evans of Spring City, Harley Evans of Grandview an d J. D. Evans of Shelbyville, TN , sisters Rosalee York of Lenior City, Wilma Seals of Spring City and Roxie Wolfe of Alabama and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 3 PM in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Zimmerman and Rev. Lawrence Waller officiating . Interment will follow in the Mt. Sulpher Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 PM until the time of services.
