Robert Wayne Dillard, 59 died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.

A lifetime resident of Rhea County , Robert was the son of the late H. T. and Frances Allen Dillard.  He was a graduate of Rhea County High School .  Robert formerly worked as a Deputy of the Rhea County Sheriff's Department and the Spring City Police Department and was currently employed as a millwright for Local Union #1554 working at the Watts Bar and Sequoyah Nuclear Plants.  He was a member of the Sale Creek Masonic Lodge #280 F. & A. M.  Robert was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Carlos, H. D. and Johnny Dillard.

Robert is survived by his wife Robyn Hildum Dillard of Spring City, his two dachshunds "Fred" and "Little Man" and his sister Margie (Odean) Lawson  of Spring City.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 19, 2018 after 1:00 pm at Robert's residence .
