Ricky Parks 63 of Spring City died Friday, October 1, 2021 at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville. He was born on May 2, 1958 to the late LeRoy and Helen Holloway Parks. Ricky was a graduate of Rhea County High School. He worked with his family in Parks and Parks Construction; retiring in 2007. Ricky also w orked as a pipefitter for ten years at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant and owned trucks that hauled cattle. He enjoyed fishing; especially for trout, farming and traveling out West. Ricky was a member of the Highway 70 Church of Christ; where he enjoyed preaching and singing with his church family.

Survivors include his wife Terri Parks of Spring City, daughters Brandlyn (Nathan) Bell of Knoxville, Ashley (Andrea Finley) Parks of Crossville and Kristy (Bradley) Puckett of Oak Ridge, his brother Gary Parks of Spring City, his sisters Pam (Larry) Hall of Gallatin, Tennessee and Tracey Boshears of Nashville , his grandchildren Jackson Bell, Lila Bell, Adler Finley and Everitt Puckett , several nieces and nephews and his dog Bobbie (a Red Healer).

Memorial services will be Monday , October 4, 2021 at 6pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm ; prior to the services. Jimmy Woodall and Vaughn Wilson will be officiating.
