Richard L. "Ricky" Janow, 62, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga , Tennessee .

A lifetime resident of Spring City , Ricky was born in July 15, 1957 to the late William R. and Robbie L. Janow.  He was a graduate of Rhea County High School.  Ricky was a member of Friendship (Heritage Independent) Baptist Church.  He was retired from Suburban Manufacturing in Dayton, Tennessee, where he worked for many years.  Ricky enjoyed playing pool, watching television and being surrounded by family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Glaspy and Martha Janow and maternal grandparents Ben and Rachel Clar k, maternal grandmother Helen Clark, son Nicholas Janow and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Survivors include his daughter Jennifer (Raymond) Fine, sister Pam (Frank) Hill and brother Terry Janow all of Spring City, nephew Benji (Sarah) Hill of Dayton and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Bowen and Pastor Jonathan Panther officiating.  Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
