Richard L. Hill, 79 of Spring City died Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his home.

Born on January 17, 1942, Richard was a lifetime resident of Spring City.  He attended Spring City High School.  Richard was a member of the Painters' Union Local #226 and worked at the TVA Watts Bar Nuclear and Steam Plant for over 30 years.  He liked to coon hunt and enjoyed stock car racing.  Richard was a member of the Texas Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Verna Jean Hill and his parents A. F. "Frizz' and Helen Hill.

Survivors include his children Greg (Kris) Hill and Curtis (Jessica) Hill both of Spring City, his brothers J. W. (Debb y ) Hill of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Paul (Julie) Hill of Nashville and Dean (Maybelle) Hill of Spring City, his sisters Ivene (Jimmy) Webb and Carolyn (David) De Vaney both of Ch attanooga, his grandchildren Josh and Jared Hill and Hunter and Austin Hill, his great grandchild Avery Hill and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be private.
