Ray Ed Scarbro, 68, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at his home .

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Ray was the son of the late El mer and Phyllis Jane Cobb Scarbro .  He and his wife, Sandra, moved from West Virginia to the Spring City community 11 years ago.  He retired from the La-Z-Boy Corporation .  Ray liked to fish.  He was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his wife of over 41 years, Sandra W. Scarbro of Spring City, two children and brother Ben Scarbro of North Carolina.

There will be no visitation or services.
