Randy L. "Rooster" Strickland, 58, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Rhea Medical Center.
A lifetime resident of Spring City, Rooster attended the Wolf Creek Baptist Church. He loved to fish, help with the family business -Strickland's Upholstery and work on the family farm with the cows.
Survivors include his parents Lamar and Jewel Troutt Strickland of Spring City, brother Mark Strickland of Spring City, sister Cathy (Mike) Smith of Spring City and nephew Justin Whitted of Dayton.
Funeral services are Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
