Patsy C. Prater , 68 , died Saturday , October 6 , 20 18 at her residence .

Born in Garrett. KY , Patsy was of the Baptist faith. She enjoy ed playing canasta. Patsy enjoyed doing hobbies and crafts, cooking and c ollecting recipes. But most of a ll , she enjoyed her family and entertaining her friend s from all over the United States in her home o n the lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tandy and Liza Wallace Hicks, brothers Glen Hicks and T.J. Hicks, sister s Emogene Niemi and infant sister Linda Lou Hicks

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Terry Prater of S pring City, daughters Melissa ( Eric) Tittle of Columbus, OH, Jennifer (D.J.) Martin of A thens, TN , brother James (Peggy) Hicks of Cadiz, KY and grandchildren Derek Tittle, Olivia Martin, Megan Tittle, Landon Martin and Jillian Martin .

Funeral services will be Tuesday , October 9th , 2018 at 2 pm at the c hapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev . Paul Forgey officiating.  Interment wi ll follow in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday , October 8 th , 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home .
