Nicki Lee Everett , 71 died Thurs day , December 24 , 20 20 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, Colorado.

Born on April 13, 1949 in Las Animas, Colorado , s he was the daughter of the late Don Gardener and Mary Katheryn Quinn Dimmitt . Nicki was a security officer and retired from the TVA - Watts Bar Nuclear Plant in 2010.  She was also a former Dayton City Police Office r ; the first female officer in that department. Nicki was an active member of the Wolf Creek Fire Department.  She enjoyed auctions, quilting and crocheting.  Nicki was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her brother Scott Dimmitt.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years Billy Everett of Spring City , daughters Lisa (Donnie) Ward and Katie (Robert) Garrison both of Evensville and Michelle Ann (David) Blakley of Spring City , stepsister Joanne Ba sl er of Boulder, Colorado , 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren .

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Spring City Cemetery with Rev. Milton Knox officiating. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks will be required.  There will be no public visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wolf Creek Fire Department, 4793 Wolf Creek Road, Spring City, TN  37381.
