Nancy Ellen Garrison Dunn, 74 of Spring City died on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at her home.

Born on January 8, 1947, Nancy was a resident of the Wolf Creek community. She was a graduate of Gallatin High School.  Nancy worked as a cook at the Spring City Elementary School and the Rhea County High School for many years.  She loved to quilt , sew and work jigsaw puzzles.  Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, home maker and a friend to many.  She was a member of the Texas Grove Baptist Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mary Hill Garrison, her brothers Bob, Clem, York and Alfred Garrison and her sisters Ruth Ann Ezell and Betty Mahan.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years Albert Dunn of Spring City, children Melissa Parks, Alberta Newman and Jeff Dun n all of Spring City, her brothers George (Idella) Garrison and James (Kathleen) Garrison both of Spring City, her sister Alta Mae Roberts Tate of Spring City, grandchi ldren Caleb and Cassidy Newman, Chelsea Dunn, Nora Cate Dunn, Heather Parks McClung and Austin Dunn, her great grandchildren Marlee Hogan, Aiden Dunn, Henley and Hudson McClung, Helena Newman Headrick, L andon Newman, Maddux Dunn Roach, Aubrey, Paisley, Keylon and Keyland Newman and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Huskey officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens.   The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
