Spring City

Minnie M. Meadows, 91, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A lifetime resident of Spring City, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna Underwood Hill.  Minnie was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Spring City Foursquare Church where she taught Sunday school for 65 years.  Minnie loved her family and her church and was a lifelong prayer warrior.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert C. Meadows Jr., brother Haskell Hill, sisters Winnie Faye, Vernice Danice and Verna Ferguson and son-in-law Larry Miles.

Survivors include her children, Haskell (Melba) Meadows of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Roberta Doreen Pearce of Corona, California and Charlotte Miles of Spring City, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Spring City Foursquare Church with Rev. David Daniels officiating.  Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Spring City Foursquare Church.
