Merrilee M. Hyde age 91 of Grandview, Tennessee died on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee.

She was born on April 19, 1932 in French Harbor, Roatan, Honduras to the late Delmar Evans and Sybil Bodden McNab Sr.Merrilee became a United States Citizen at the age of 91.  She has lived in this area since 1965 and Grandview since 2020. Merrilee enjoyed bowling, sewing, art and crafts, making jewelry, and floral designing. She was a member of Celina Seventh Day Adventist Church in Celina, Tennessee.

Merrilee is also preceded in death by her husband Osman E. Hyde Sr., her brothers Delmar McNab Jr., Captain Robert McNab, and Carl O. McNab, her sisters Annie Mae Matute, Catherine Wood, and infant sister Barbara McNab, and her grandsons David Hyde and Nicholas.

Survivors include her children Melva Hyde and Cheasly Hyde both of Grandview, Tennessee, Flonnie Lee Chirinos of Texas, Osman Hyde Jr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Elvis Hyde of Arkansas; her sisters Goldie S. Alvarado, Barbara L. Woods, and Sonia McNab all of Honduras; her 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 4:30 PM CST at Celina Seventh day Adventist Church, 101 Doctors Drive, Celina, Tennessee 38551.
