Masel Reed, 96 of Grandview died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on October 19, 1924 in Cumberland County, Masel was a longtime resident of Grandview and a member of the Reed's Chapel Church of God in Grandview.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Reed, her parents Norman and Ocie May Reed Godsey , and her sons Avery Reed and Benton Reed.

Survivors include her children John Reed, Allen (Kay) Reed , Jane (Leonard) Fugate, Jewell (Wayne) Beasley, Stella (Ray) Harrison, Kathy Cawood , Mary (Rick) Jackson and Bonnie (Billy) Fisher , her 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Reed's Chapel Church of God with the Rev. Gregory A. Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Grandview.  The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the church.
