Mary E. Raines 76 , died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home.
Born on March 16, 19 44 , Mary was a lifetime resident of Spring City. She retired from the La-Z-Boy Corporation. Mary liked to cook and enjoyed canning food for her family. She especially liked spending time with her family. Mary was a member of the Wolf Cree k Baptist Church in Spring City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Hamill and her daughter Elizabeth Diane Hickey.
Survivors include her children Bonnie Berry of Dayton, Cindy (Tom) McG hee of Spring City, Robert a Raines of Spring City, David (Louise) Raines of Evensville, Glenda (Brian Goodman) Sneed of Spring City, April (James) Johnson of Dayton and Joanie Raines of Spring City, stepson Grady Hamill Jr. of Soddy Daisy, sister Gladys White of San Ant onio , Texas, special aunt Carrie Roy of Sweetwater, TN, 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services are Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funera l Home with Rev. Paul Forgey and Rev. Adam Bostic officiating. Interment will follow in the Porter-Hill Cemetery in Spring City. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 concerns masks will be required.
