Mary A. Mingle, 72, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga.

Born in Milton, Pennsylvania, Mary was the daughter of the late Burrows and Eva Kreppenneck Rishel. In 1997, Mary moved from Pennsylvania to the Spring City community. She worked with her husband, Jim, as a truck driver and on a dairy farm. Mary also worked in the real estate industry. She was a master gardener, active in the Red Hat Society and welcomed foster children into her home. Mary especially loved her grandchildren. She was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband James "Jim" Oscar Mingle and her son Mark J. Mingle.

Survivors include her grandsons James Mingle and Jason Mingle both of Spring City, brother Tom Rishel of Muncy, Pennsylvania and sister Isabel Attinger of Turbotville, Pennsylvania.

Memorial services are Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating.
