Marjorie Butler age 88 of Dayton, Tennessee died Thursday, July 28, 2022 at her residence.

Marjorie was born on February 6, 1934 in Millville, Minnesota and has been a resident of this area since 1968. She attended Midwest Bible Missionary Institute in St. Louis and later graduated in 1958. Marjorie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton, Tennessee. She and her husband worked at Cedine Ministries for many years. Marjorie was a skilled seamstress, a very good cook, and was an accomplished pianist. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Marjorie is prece ded in death by her husband Roger Dewitt Butler who died in 2015, her son Steve Butler , sisters Mary Ferguson and Phyllis Enabnit, and her brother Jim Erickson.

Survivors include her daughters Linda (Roy) Barger of Dayton, Tennessee and Beth (Joseph) Berch of Atlanta, Georgia; her sons Daniel (Amy) Butler of Sachse, Texas and John Butler of Dayton, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law Sandy Butler of Atlanta, Georgia; her sister Elizabeth Harcey of Minnesota; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Satur day, August 6, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Joshua Stock officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 PM t o 3 PM . Interment will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
