Margaret Cunningham 71, of Spring City died Monday, October 4, 2021 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

Born on March 10, 1950, Margaret was a lifetime resident of Spring City.  She was a graduate of Spring City High School, Class of 1969.  Margaret worked at Oster Corporation and also worked at the Spring City Elementary School.  She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.  Margaret was a member of the St. Clair Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents Marvin and Emma Lou Reed Garrison and her sisters Barbara Thurman and Linda Reed.

Survivors include her spouse of 50 years Wilson Cunningham of Spring City, her children Denise (Rick) Latshaw and Freddy (Amanda) Cunningham both of Spring City, her brother Milton (Gale) Garrison of Grandview and her grandchildren Will and Case Cunningham and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thurs day, October 7 , 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Didlake officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
