Margaret D. Crane, 92 died Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her residence .

Margaret was bo rn on March 12, 1928 in Dade County, Georgia .  She was raised there and was a graduate of Dade County High School.  Margaret was a longtime resident of the New Salem Community of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, maintaining membership at the New Salem United Methodist Church. She moved to Spring City, Tennessee several years ago and became a member of the Spring City United Methodist Church , where she sang in the choir.  Besides the church, her joy was working in her yard and tending her roses.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Carroll Crane and her parents Elbert Porter "E.P." and Claudia Howell Johnston . S he was the last surviving of their four children .

Survivors include her sons Carroll (Rayanne) Crane II of Evensville, TN and Michael (Sherr i Standridge) Crane of Spring City, grandchildren Jennifer (Greg) Doonis, Amber (Matt) Dame and Seth (Carmen) Crane and nine great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services .
