Mack M. Tallent , 91 of Spring City died Saturday , February 6 , 20 21 at Golden Years Retirement Resort. He was a lifetime resident of Rhea County.

Mack was born on February 8, 1929 to the late Chatt and Kathleen Barton Tallent. Mack was a dedicated farmer and served in the U.S Army as a paratrooper during the Korean Conflict. He also owned and operated Rhea Springs Hatchery and was a very hard working man. M ack attended St. Clair Baptist Church in Spring City.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanetta McN elly Tallent, his sisters Joyce Lavender and Isabella Thompson, and brothers Clarence and Bob Tallent.

Survivors include his daughter Maggi e Robinson of Oak Ridge, TN, his brother Jim (Na ncy) Tallent of Spring City, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Spring City Cemetery.
