Macay Hedrick, 24, died Sunday , October 27 , 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

A lifetime resident of Spring City , Macay attended Rhea Coun ty High School.  He loved sports, fishing, the University of Michigan Wolverines and U. F. C. Fights.  Most of all , he loved his family and his children.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers Johnie Bolton, Clayton Dunnagan and Albert Pergeau and his uncle Eric Bolton.

Survivors include his mother Jennifer (Clemente) Castaneda, Spring City, father Michael Du nnagan, Lenox, Michigan, fiancé Allysia Manzano, Spring City, children Kylee Sharp and Makenna Hedrick both of Spring City, brothers Daniel Castaneda, Ethan Hedrick, Luis Castaneda and E. J. Castaneda all of Spring City, sisters Sheena Resendiz, Athens, Stephanie Castaneda, Chattanooga and Mari Castaneda, Spring City, maternal grandmother Monica Bolton, Spring City, maternal grandfather Robert (Kim) Hedrick, Hazel Park, Michigan, paternal grandparents Joe and Dixie Dunnagan, Lenox, Michigan, great grandmothers Donna Bolton, Spring City, Lola Dunnagan, Ferndale, Michigan, Elsie Pergeau, Hazel Park, Michigan , great grandfather John Hedrick of White Lake, Michigan, in-laws Melissa and Ramiro Manzano, Dayton, several aunts, uncles and cousins and his dog Jax.

Funeral services are Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Jouben officiating. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday, November 1, 20 19 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
