Lynn Nolan, 72, died Monday, February 10, 2020 at his residence .

Born in Sparta, Tennessee on October 22, 1947 , Lynn was raised in Escatawta, Mississippi . He was a graduate of Moss Point High School.  Lynn was a boilermaker in the shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi and retired from Bechtel in 2017.  He and his wife, Patsy, moved from Mississippi to the Spring City community in 1989.  Lynn enjoyed playing golf, cooking ( especially Cajun food ) and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Homestead, Florida.  Lynn was of the Church of Christ faith.

He was preceded in death by his father William B. Nolan, mother Marie Eldridge Nolan Weathers , stepfather William B. Weathers and sister Dorothy Oliver .

Survivors include his wife Patsy A. Nolan of Spring City, children Chris (Valerie) Nolan of Athens, Tennessee and Shelly (Chris) Pruett of Spring City, sister Melba (David) Kelton of Moss Point, Mississippi, brother Chuck Weathers, Moss Point, Mississippi, grandchildren Tryston Nolan, Zoie Nolan, Carter Nolan, Cory Pruett and Kennedi Pruett.

Funeral services are Satur day, February 15 , 2020 at 2:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Revis officiating. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6:00 p m to 8:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
