Lucy G. Smith, 92, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Cumberland House in Crossville, Tennessee.

A lifetime resident of Spring City, Lucy was the daughter of the late Isaac and Dailey Roberts Gideon. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Boyd Smith, brothers Ray, Arvin, J. R., Ervin and Arlie Gideon and sister Dovie Breeding.

Survivors include her sons Delbert (Donna) Smith of Grandview and Donald Smith of Spring City, sister Willie Lee Loden of Spring City, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services are Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Grace officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
