Lou E. Clowers, 91, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton.

Born in Monroe County, Tennessee, Lou was the daughter of the late Edgar and Gertrude Clowers McKee.   In the 1980's, Lou moved from Grand Rapids, Michigan to the Spring City community.  She was a member of the Frostbite House of Prayer.

Lou was preceded in death by her husband Pierce Clowers.

Survivors include her sons Bobby (Judy) Clowers and Robert "Bones" Schultz both of Spring City, brothers Stanley McKee of Sweetwater, Tennessee and Clifford McKee of Dalton, Georgia, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Frostbite House of Prayer with Rev. Paul Daniels officiating.   Interment will be Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Hiwassee Cemetery in Madisonville, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church.
