Lonnie Smith age 75 of Grandview, Tennessee died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman, Tennessee.

He was born on October 31, 1947 in Cumberland County, Tennessee. Lonnie attended Grandview School. He worked at La-Z-Boy for 30 years until his retirement. Lonnie liked old cars and wood working. He also liked to travel and go on cruises . Lonnie was of the Church of God faith.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents Mark Samuel and Carrie Sherrill Smith , and his brother Harley Smith.

Survivors include his wife Blanche Smith of Grandview, Tennessee; his sister Patricia Rector of Spring City, Tennessee; his miniature Doberman "Savannah"; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Johnson Stand Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
