Lois Spurlin age 85 of Grandview, Tennessee died on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on August 18, 1938 to the late Jerry V. and Hattie Thompson Martin. Lois was a graduate of Homestead High School. She worked at Spring City Manufacturing and L.E.P. Enterprises where she retired. Lois loved to sew and garden. She was a member of Mercy Baptist Church in Grandview.

Lois was also preceded in death by her husband J.C. Spurlin, sisters Betty Pendleton and Geraldine Evans, and brothers Wayne Martin and Winfred Martin.

Survivors include her children Karen Spurlin and Dwight Spurlin, both of Grandview, Tennessee and her sister Imogene Pogue of Kingston, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in Grandview. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
