Lois M. Cook , 70 died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A lifelong resident of Rhea County, Lois was the daughter of the late Mayford V. and Verna Etherton Edwards.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Spring City Church of God.  Lois loved her church and sang in a gospel group.

Survivors include her husband Jerry D. Cook of Spring City, sons Glen (Marti) Miles of Dayton and Jerry L. (Mandy) Cook of Spring City, her sister Linda Mathis of Spring City, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Smith and Rev. Paul Forgey officiating.  Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Vaughn Funeral Home.
