Linda J. Mullins, 80 died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Born on January 21, 1941, Linda was a lifetime resident of Spring City.  She was a graduate of Spring City High School , Class of 1959 and she was also Miss Spring City in 1959.  Linda was a graduate of Tennessee Tech earning a BA Degree.  She taught science for two years before going to work for 42 years for the State of Tennessee Department of Health.  Linda was a member of the Spring City United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class and U.M.W .  She was active with the Spring City Historical Museum. Linda was an avid crosstitcher and shared many items with family and friends.  She was also loved to read.  Linda was an extraordinary woman who enjoyed taking care of others---never herself.  She loved everyone especially the neighborhood kids and animals.

L inda was preceded in death by her parents Joe L. and Dorothy Muller Witt .

Survivors include her husband Fred Mullins Jr. of Spring City, daughter Donna (fiancé Wayne Graves) Mullins of Spring City, brother Alan "Buddy" (Janice) Witt of Hixson and her beloved cat "Lacey".

Due to COVID-19 concerns, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
