Linda June Brown, 76, of Spencer and formerly of Spring City, died Friday, March 1, 2019 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, Tennessee.

Born in Elyria, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of the late Austin Ro berts and Ruth McCabe Thurman. She was a member of the Spring City Foursquare Church.  Linda loved her family, grandchildren and her great grandchild.  She also had a love of dogs. Most importantly, Linda loved the Lord.

Linda was preceded in death by her brother Ronnie Roberts.

Survivors include her father Clyde Thurman Sr. of Spring City, son Eddie ( Tina ) Brown of Spencer, daughters Amy (John) Saferite of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Kelly (Josh) LeJune of Spring City , brother Clyde (Wendy) Thurman Jr. of Spring City, sisters Sue (Bill) Carter of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Cathy (Ken) Lauer of Boulder City, Nevada, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Vines and Branches Foursquare Church in Dayton with Pastor Brian Conley officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church.

Linda was a diabetic for 65 years.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at donations.diabetes.org/
