LeRoy Parks, 90 of Spring City died Wednesday, May 19 2021 at his home.

Born on February 3, 1931, LeRoy was a lifetime resident of Rhea County.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served his country during the Korean Conflict.  LeRoy was a hard worker and a good husband, father and grandfather.  He was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Helen C. Parks, his parents Albert F. and Gladys A. Price Parks Sr., his brothers Albert Parks Jr. and Joby Parks and his sister Shirley Pendleton.

Survivors include his children Gary Parks and Rick (Terry) Parks both of Spring City, Pam (Larry) Hall of Gallatin, TN and Tracey Boshears of Nashville, TN, his sister Alma Fisher of Elyria, OH, grandchildren Brandlyn Bell, Ashley Parks, Kristy Puckett, Chelsea Dunn, Heather McClung, Cameron Hall and Scott Hall, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 23 , 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Spring City Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating.  There will be no visitation.
