Larry Kimsey age 73 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on August 12, 1949 to the late John and Nora Evans Kimsey . Larry was a graduate of Spring City High School. He was an operator for TVA and retired after 28 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Spring City, Tennessee. Larry loved his dogs and grandchildren. He also loved to walk with his friends. Larry enjoyed Braves baseball and country music.

Larry is also preceded in death by his wife Kay Barnett Kimsey and his brother Dale Kimsey .

Survivors include his children Waylon (Jacinta) Kimsey of Chattanoo ga, Tennessee and Krystal Caraway of Grandview, Tennessee; son-in-law Tony Caraway of Grandview, Tennessee; sister Barbara (Richard) Daniel of Spring City, Tennessee ; grandchildren Madison Reagan, Mason Clawson , Monroe Kimsey, and Maveri k Fugate; and his dog "Barney " and his cat "Tigger."

F uneral service s will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
