LaPr ie l Holloway Lyles, 75 , died Thursday, January 2, 2020 at her residence.

A lifetime resident of Spring City, LaPr ie l was the daughter of the late Jar man and Jessie Chumley Holloway.  She was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.  From a young age, LaPriel enjoyed singing with her family and church family.  She loved the Lord and her passion was to share that joy with others.  She owned and worked as a beautician at LaPriel's Beauty Salon for many years.

LaPriel was preceded in death by brothers Edward "Babe" Holloway and Calvin (Bessie) Holloway; sisters Celia (Ed) Clark, Loretta (Robert) Strickland, Vida (Jack) Monday, Anna Dee (Junior) Parks and Metha Crawford; grandson Jeffrey Sean Reed and great grandson Lanston Bianculli.

Survivors include her husband David Lyles of Spring City, children Jeff (Jan) Reed of Evensville, Carmen (Steve) Price of Spring City,  Billynthia (Danny) Hill of Spring City, Laura (Matthew) Murphy of Spring City, Mark (Teresa) Pierce of Dayton, Penny (Scott) Crowe of Athens, Scott Lyles of Athens and Pam Landress of North Carolina; brothers Hoyal (Martha) Holloway of Georgia and Peter Alexander of Houston, Texas; sisters Helen (Roy) Parks of Spring City and Lois Holloway of Spring City; grandchildren Jessica (Tanner) Gothard, Shea (Brad) James, Leah (Nathan) Thompson, Caleb (Savannah) Price, Cassidy (Jake) Burnette, Jacob (Tamika) Bianculli, Lee Hill, Austin, Br o dy, Chloe and Crew Murphy, Jake (Whitney) Bull, Cody (Allison) Bull, Meagan, Major and Whitney Landress; great grandchildren Allie, Wyatt and Emeri Gothard; Blake, Hannah and Cooper James, Paisley and Cora Thompson; Scarlett and Lillian Bianculli, Weston Burnette, Caitlyn, Wilson, Paisley and Sawyer Bull, Hailee, Alexus Anderson, Emmarie and Jade Williams and Kade and Christain Landress and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Thurs day, January 9 , 2020 at 2:00 p m at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. The body will lie in state from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednes day , January 8, 2020 from 5:00 p m to 8:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
