Kineard Hill, 90 of Spring City died on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home.

Born on January 5, 1931, Kineard was a lifetime resident of Rhea County.  He was a cattle farmer, but also drove the school bus for the Rhea County Department of Education for 15 years.  Kineard loved to garden, raise his cattle, coon hunt and spend time with his family; especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Texas Grove Baptist Church.

Kineard was preceded in death by parents Ola and Nola Harrison Hill, his son Donnie Hill, his brothers Ceamon Hill, Charles Hill, Alvin Hill and Dallas Hill and his sister Belakia Whitten.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Mary J. Hill of Spring City, his children Danny (Billythia) Hill of Spring City, Connie (Mike) Pile of Pall Mall, TN, Dicy (Don) Brown of Spring City , Jewell Crisp of Spring City and Cole (Carol) Van Hooser of Atlanta, GA, his brother Earl (Jeanette) Hill of Whitwell, TN, his sister Betty Purser of Dayton, his daughter-in- law Ann e Hill of Upperville, VA , 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Didlake officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 7, 202 1 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
